I have been rewiring and making keyboards since I was an adolescent. I continue to design, build and hack keyboards to this day.

I would like to change the views that people have of the physical computer interfaces that are commonly used. From the keyboards to the the software interfaces that are so common. I feel that modern technology has done a disservice to humanity by continuing to promote such terrible ergonomics and usability from the physical interface to the software that we interact with.

I’m very interested in promoting physical interfaces which are ergonomically healthy for us to use, as well as modern keyboard layouts which create a more comfortable interface which facilitates our writing, coding, and usage of computers. The software interfaces I use on my computer are very different from the usual and may seem quite alien to someone accustomed to common computer systems.

It started in the 90s, I had physical needs, problems which arose, and thus began a lifelong journey into ergonomics. I switched to a Kinesis Advantage and Dvorak and I haven’t looked back. I’ve used and made many different keyboards over the course of many years. My current keyboards are a redesigned, shrunken, gutted, and completely rebuilt Kinesis Advantage, (I kept most of the plastic) and very hacked Splitkb.com Kyria with 40 keys.

I use the Dvorak and Hands Down Promethium layouts instead of the usual Qwerty or Azerty layouts. I frequently type in both english and french. I do not use a mouse or other pointing device.
